Timewarp: May 26

While May 26 may not stand out in your mind as a particularly significant day it does in mine.

No not for anything culturally significant. Nor for anything particularly exciting that happened. In fact May 26 was essentially a non-event.

But I did look totally hot.

So I'd been watching a lot of Ru Pauls Drag Race (season 2) and was inspired by
Raven's make up. Trying something different I opted to use my liquid eyeliner around my whole eye in a Cleopatra meets an emo kind of way. But totally chic.

Anyway, I straightened my hair, darkened my eyebrows, did my eyes and prepared to get dressed in what one can only call a true masterpiece of an outfit.

I present to the court; A purple semi-batwing shirt, with a black lace back and shoulders.
A black vintage velvet maxi skirt of the most delicious kind, newly acquired from my mothers wardrobe.
And my black wedge boots that make me a million times taller and don't hurt my feet.
And accessories.

Anyway, I went shoe shopping with Lexi and Cassie M and a couple of the MTG boys. It was pretty fun, Myer has some ludicrously expensive and unattractive shoes. But wow, did it have some beautiful ones. My favourite were a pair of heels that reminded me of french holidays, and the 50's and the beach and picnics and so on. They were absolutely divine! I just go
ogled them and they're actually the Christian Louboutin red plaid heels. $145 apparently. So beautiful but kind of uncomfortable looking...

The red plaid heels in question.

A blue alternative to their red counterpart.

Blue polka dot satin slingbacks.
(Not at the store, but I found them while googling CL and they're also divine!)

Afterwards I went to get my bra size checked because I've grown (and I have successfully levelled up again) and now can't even buy bras at Kmart. (which sucks because Kmart has surprisingly attractive bras)

Now before you tell my back my shit up, I want to make a point. (Puts on glasses, is now a Professor, cos it works like that.) Most women don't wear the right sized bra, and I know that's a poster quote if ever I said one, but hey, it's important to get checked, and regularly
too. (I mean in the space of a few weeks my friend went from a 12DD to a 12E to an 8GG.) Your body changes a lot more than you think it does and you need to take care of yourself. Also I really like buying pretty underwear.

Also we watched Pirates of the Caribbean 4; On Stranger Tides. The Serene the mermaid was so gorgeous, and the priest was hot, but really gumby. And I don't mean GUMBY. He just kept getting himself stabbed and stuff. It was kind of ridiculous.

But it was good. Probably not as good as the others, but still good. Besides. Jack Sparrow is both Pirate and Ninja.

Made eyes at a handsome glasses clad man at the train station. He was reading the newspaper and kept glancing at me. It was special.

Muchos Love and pink noses.
