French

Or like, a pirate stripper, I just don't know anymore.
I went for a bit of a different style today, drawing-wise. Semi based off Studio Killers work, or at least the character design for Cherry.

Based off this outfit:

Be Free

Be Free...

We had to get together three pieces of art and a short artist statement for our Graduate Exhibition Showbook and I only had my hard drive with me, so I rummaged around trying to find stuff to put in when I found this sketch that I did for concept art.
I threw it in because I couldn't make up my mind as to what to do and the deadline was today so...

When the drivers aren't being awful I remember why I love drawing with a graphics tablet. It's so amazing and the things you can create!
But when that thing happens with the pressure sensitivity dropping out and other rudy poo things I just want to go back to traditional art. >:

That is all.

Lyrical Art

I was reading a post on Elsie's blog a while ago showing DIY lyric wall art decorations, however I just didn't have the time or the materials, so instead I decided to do it my way.
Using my own photography and some wonderful fonts from the internet I created my own set of Lyrical Art pieces that I can now print out and put up around my house.
I'll make more in the future but for now this is it. And now you know what kind of music I listen to....

Apres Moi by Regina Spektor

Moonlight Shadow by Mike Oldfield

Caught in the Crowd by Kate Miller-Heidke

Don't Speak by No Doubt

Dream a Little Dream of Me written by Gus Kahn

Fly by Hilary Duff

Hello by Lionel Richie

Samson by Regina Spektor
(there's a small typo here, it's *are not *were)

Strange and Beautiful by Aqualung

I'll be making more, after all there is so much beauty and wisdom in songs, it's nice to be able to see it as well as hear and feel it.

Muchos Love.

Daria and Jane

I've been creating a lot of art in Flash lately, it probably has something to do with how much time I've been spending in this program, using it for my Final Project and for my internship, also spending 48 hours using it for the challenge.

I'm definitely getting more confident with it to say the least.

So last night I decided I wanted to have a bit more of a practice with it and thus I created a revamped Daria Morgendorffer and Jane Lane from the hit 90's show Daria which was an important part of my childhood and the development of my with and humour.

I'm thinking of dressing as Daria for Halloween this year too.
